About Me

I’m a Reiki Master in the Western Usui Tradition and a Registered Reiki Practitioner with the International Association of Reiki Professionals (IARP). I’ve been working with energies for the past 18 years and added Energetic Healing to my energy practices after earning my Master’s Certificate in early 2013. Since earning my RMT/RMP (Reiki Master Teacher/Practitioner) I’ve added other forms of healing energy to my practice and rely on intuition and the client’s energetic response to a session to determine which energies will best serve that individual. In early 2024 I became a Certified Sound Therapist with the CMA (Complementary Medical Association). I prefer to use sound to complement the pure energy work (as opposed to using sound as the only modality) and I find that singing bowls and tuning forks do a wonderful job helping to move energies. The more I play with sound though, I think I may add sound baths as an option for clients in the near future. Years ago (almost too many to count!) I began my journey working with crystals and singing bowls, using both in my meditations and to assist me with stress reduction and enhancing my emotional and physical health. When I was introduced to the Light Language grid- work, I was impressed with how powerful the grids were. Shortly after, I was trained in all three levels of Light Language and have been creating these grids since 2011. In addition to working with energies, I’ve had a number of interests including wand making and bead-work using crystals (though technically these could also be considered tools used to effect the direction of energies) and creating astrological Natal Charts (birth charts). In my “prior life” I was a mechanical engineer and worked in aerospace for nearly 30 years. This gives me a unique perspective on stress and its effects on emotional and physical health, having experienced high stress levels for most of my engineering career and needing to be able to understand that stress in order to manage it. Back in 2010 I was encouraged by close friends to begin selling my herbal creations (Dragonstone Herbals) and since healing with herbs is also a form of energy work, when I decided to leave the corporate world it was a natural leap to move onto a new path helping others by combining all the forms of energy work I use. I love this new life path helping others to achieve balance in their lives and would be delighted if you’d like to join me on my journey.
