Statement of Office Policies This statement explains my office policies and also applies to any Energetic Healing distance sessions performed over the telephone. Statement of Rights and Responsibilities This statement covers both the client (you) and practitioner (me) and describes what is expected from each party. Required Forms For distance sessions ordered online, I will send an email to you requesting the necessary information. Once you’ve replied with your answers, we’ll arrange the phone session. Also, please note my policies on this page and on my shop website. New Client Information This form is to be filled out prior to your first session. It may be printed out and completed prior to arrival to expedite the initial interview. (this form is not required for animals) Consent Forms Use this form to give permission for me to do Energetic Healing for your minor child: and this form for animals: Website / Office Policies Disclaimer I am a registered member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals (IARP) and adhere to their stated Code of Ethics. The State of California does not require certification or licensing of Reiki or other Energetic Healing practitioners. Reiki/Energetic Healing is considered by the State of California (and the medical community in general) to be a complimentary or alternative therapy. Reiki/Energetic Healing is one of many energetic healing modalities that are non-invasive and require no physical contact between healer and client. Regardless, it is possible that complications from a Reiki/Energetic Healing session may occur. Moving energy within the body and clearing blockages can occasionally lead to physical effects or emotional upset. If you agree to a Reiki/Energetic healing session, it is your responsibility to follow through and contact me if there are any issues that create any discomfort so that any energetic blockages that may have occurred after your session can be addressed. Healing Through Balance may occasionally offer Reiki/Energetic Healing or other services through third parties like a spa or chiropractor’s office. Sessions offered by a third party are controlled by that party, available appointment/payment schedules may differ from what is listed on this site, and are the sole responsibility of the third party. With regard to animal Reiki/Energetic Healing sessions, I do not work directly with aggressive or overly nervous animals. I reserve the right to refuse to perform Reiki/Energetic Healing on any animal for any reason, especially if I believe they may become aggressive toward me. If I feel my safety may be compromised (based on my sole discretion) the session will be ended immediately and the remainder of the session will be performed as a Distance session at a later time. Products offered for sale in my office or online store are not intended for use to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease and their use has not been evaluated by either a medical professional or the Food and Drug Administration. Use of any of the products offered in my office or online store is at your own risk and you bear full responsibility for understanding and following all warnings and cautions including but not limited to the potential for any allergic reactions, as well as speaking to a physician about any medical condition prior to using (or during / after use of) any of these products and whether or not they are appropriate for your use. All products offered in my office or online store are for external use only, should never be ingested, and there is no guarantee or warrantee, implied or otherwise, that any product will provide the desired results. Terms and Conditions

Any services requested online must be paid for prior to the service(s) being performed; for services to be performed in my office, payment must be made at the time the service(s) is provided. By purchasing one or more of my services you agree to provide the necessary information in order for me to perform those services. You also agree that the transaction for a service does not begin until I have all needed information and the transaction will be considered complete once the service is performed and/or any files/documents have been delivered to you. I reserve the right to request additional information or clarification if needed prior to delivery of any files/documents. The minimum information required for different services is noted below in my privacy policy. Energetic Healing sessions purchased online through my shop are coordinated fairly quickly. I will usually contact you within one business day (two business days maximum) to arrange an agreed upon date and time for your session and obtain any information needed. Sessions in my office are by prior arrangement only (eg, appointments scheduled by phone) and I do not take walk-in clients (see my contact page here). Astrological charts/reports are generated and emailed as soon as they are complete, usually within 72 hours after I’ve received all relevant information. Light Language grids can take up to 3 weeks to complete and activate after I have all the necessary information. The grid(s) will be emailed to you once they are finished and are active. Healing Through Balance, LLC makes no representation or warranties with respect to the accuracy, applicability, fitness, or completeness of the contents of this website (www.healingthrubalance.com). The information contained in this site is strictly for educational and informational purposes. Healing Through Balance, LLC disclaim any warranties (express or implied) or fitness of materials expressed for any particular purpose and in no event shall be held liable to any party for any direct, indirect, punitive, special, incidental, health, or other consequential damages arising directly or indirectly from any use of this material, which is provided as is, and without warranties of any kind. Healing Through Balance, LLC will not in any way be held responsible for any issues that may arise due to any customer/client who fails to consult the appropriate health authorities with respect to their individual health care prior to using any information herein, accepting any Energetic Healing, or use of any of our products. These Terms and Conditions of Use shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of California, as it is applied to agreements entered into and to be performed entirely within such jurisdiction. Healing Through Balance, LLC does not warrant the performance, effectiveness, or applicability of this site nor whether any/all of its features or add-ons will work on all operating systems or with all browsers. Energetic healing will be made available to children under 18 only with written parental consent as indicated by the parent’s signature on the New Client Parental Consent form. All information provided on this site is the property of Healing Through Balance, LLC and its founder, is copyrighted, and may not be copied, reprinted, published, reengineered, translated, hosted, or otherwise distributed by any means without written permission. These Terms and Conditions of Use are effective until terminated by Healing Through Balance, LLC . This agreement will terminate immediately, without notice and at the sole discretion of Healing Through Balance, should you fail to comply with any term or provision of this agreement. If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part because it is overbroad, that provision shall not be void but rather shall be limited only to the extent required by applicable law and enforced as so limited. Further, such invalidity or unenforceability shall attach only to such provision or part thereof and the remaining part of such provision and all other provisions hereof shall continue in full force and effect. The parties expressly acknowledge and agree that this Section is reasonable in view of the parties' respective interests.

Privacy Policy

What information do I collect from my customers/clients? The information I collect depends on which services you've requested. Of course I need your phone and/or email address to contact you regarding scheduled Reiki/Energetic Healing appointments, to deliver any astrological charts/reports or Light Language grids, or in the event of a problem with an online order. If you wish to be on my mailing list I also need that address. Additionally, all the information requested on the New Client Intake form is collected for both office visits for Reiki/Energetic Healing appointments and Reiki/Energetic Healing distance sessions over the phone. If you wish to pay by check (office visits only) I will also need your home address. If you request any astrological reports I will need birth date and birth location (city and state) information for all persons that the charts relate to in order to generate them. For Light Language Grids I need the basic intent of the grid, but may also need some background information as well. For the service grids I will need a focused intent and a description of the community involved. My hosting service does make note of activity on my sites and will document the IP address of all visitors but no personal information is collected for this site (www.healingthrubalance.com) and no account creation is required. Do I share any of the information I receive from my customers/clients? I'll never share any of your information with any other person unless I am required by law to disclose it to law enforcement or a court of law. As a registered member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals (IARP) I maintain confidentiality between practitioner (myself) and client (you). This site only contains information and we do not ask that you create an account. Because of this, there is no need for direct submittal of personal information. However, this site does use cookies (a small file placed on your computer) to facilitate the online experience and your IP address is collected as part of that cookie. Additionally, an analytics program is used to monitor the traffic on this site and your IP address is collected there as well. Healing Through Balance does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from or about children under 18 except where a parent has requested services for their minor child and provided written consent. If it is found that any child under 18 has provided their information to us without parental consent on file, we will immediately delete that information. If you believe Healing Through Balance has any information from or about anyone under 18 without parental consent, please contact us via the email form on our contact page. Healing Through Balance reserves the right to change any of these policies at any time and without any notice. You should periodically check this page for changes. Continued use of our site following the posting of any changes to these terms indicates your acceptance of those changes. Why all the forms?

The forms I have listed here are only required prior to your first energetic healing session and will remain in effect as long as you choose to see me for energetic healing sessions. These are for the protection of both parties as they speak to informed consent by both client and practitioner.
