My Philosophy
Everything in Balance
Balance is very important in our lives. If we can’t
maintain balance in all areas we can end up
completely out of whack energetically, emotionally,
and/or physically.
Too much stress that isn’t effectively managed leads
to blockages in the energetic body. Whether we
choose to deal with the Chakras, Meridians, or even
some other system, this essentially means that the
flow of energy through your energetic body is
impeded ... or stopped altogether. This can lead to
physical manifestations of stress: back pain,
problems sleeping, headaches, digestive problems,
anxiety, illness, and a host of other issues.
Some people seem to manage stress
just fine and never appear to have any
ill effects from it. But I think most of
us don’t have the innate ability or the
proper tools to be truly effective at
managing our stress. I know for myself that working
on how to manage some of the stresses in my own
life is an ongoing process.
I began working with energies in an effort to take
control of my own health (both physical and mental).
Over the years, as I’ve added more methods of
energy work to my repertoire, that has evolved into a
desire to share what I’ve learned and help others to
find their way to health through balancing their lives.
The core of my practice is Energetic Healing. I
began with Reiki, a Japanese method using energy
to help us heal physically and emotionally, and have
added other methods as I’ve grown with my
practice. Energetic practitioners have
been trained to feel the energy present
within the body of a living being
(people, animals, and even plants) and
to use the healing energy the Universe
provides to remove blockages and
direct healing energy to problem areas
within the physical body.
Energetic healing methods (homeopathy,
acupuncture, Reiki, etc) can be an excellent
complement to meditation, yoga, exercise, and other
healing methods and helps to provide the best chance
for your body to stay in balance ... and a body in
balance stays healthier. By removing some (or all)
of the negative energies and stress in your energetic
body it’s easier for your physical body to maintain
the balance necessary to be healthy.
Using energy to heal isn’t just for humans ... animals
are much more sensitive to energies and energetic
healing methods can be of great help to them.
Especially companion animals, who are prone to
picking up stress from their human guardians.
